If you're going to use a chart in your presentation, it should be a chart

[Slide:] A pie chart with an actual pie. One piece of the pie is missing. The empty portion of the pie pan is labelled "Pie I Already Ate," and the rest of the pie is labeled "Pie I Haven't Eaten."

that communicates the necessary information clearly and concisely. I found this chart on Flickr and I think it succeeds.

Once you have created all of your charts you then might ask someone to review your material. But if you do,

you want to be sure that it's someone who has both the necessary competence and is willing to give you constructive criticism.
